Con un po’ di ritardo, ma finalmente sono riuscita a fare qualche foto per farvela vedere. Ebbene si, l’ho finita! Ho iniziato il corso e questo è stato il primo progetto. Una gonna a tubino, lineare, semplice (all’apparenza). Con un po’ di indecisione ho preso la stoffa. Non sembra, ma la difficoltà, oltre che nell’imparare la tecnica, inizia proprio dalla scelta della stoffa. Comunque, ero titubante, ma poi andando avanti mi sono resa conto che era perfetta per quel che volevo e dovevo fare.
Nel corso delle lezioni ho imparato cos’è una pince, un punto molle. Ho imparato a capire l’importanza dell’imbastitura e ho imparato a vedere quanto può essere forte una lampo cucita a mano, anche se non sembra. Ho imparato a fare l’orlo a mano quando non si deve vedere la cucitura perché non sta bene. Sto imparando a maneggiare al meglio la mia macchina da cucire e a farmela sempre più amica. Ho imparato a sapere cos’è un cartamodello, ma devo ovviamente ancora perfezionare tutto, perché voglio imparare a farne sempre di più precisi. Devo imparare ad essere più sicura e competente.. ma sicuramente questo avverrà con il tempo. Nel frattempo vi mostro qualche scatto della mia nuova bambina.
With some delay, but I’ve finally made some photos to show it to you. Yes, it’s ready! I have begun the course and this has been the first project. A skirt linear, simple (to the appearance). With some indecision I have bought the fabric. It doesn’t seem, but the difficulty, over that in to learn the technique, it begins really from the choice of the fabric. However I was hesitant, but then, going on I have realized that it was perfect for what I wanted and I had to do. During the lessons I have learned what a pince is, a soft point. I have learned to understand the importance of the tacking and I have learned to see how much a zipper can be strong sewn to hand, even if it doesn’t seem. I have learned to make the edge to hand when it have to be invisible. I am learning to handle to the best my sewing machine and become familiar with it. I have learned to know what a pattern is, but I still obviously improve everything, because I want to learn to do it always more precise. I must learn to be surer and competent.. but surely this will happen with the time. In the meantime I show you some shot of my new baby.
