Ebbene, finalmente è arrivata. Quanto l’ho desiderata! Ero stufa di dover cucire tutto a mano. Nonostante sia bello, c’è da dire che con la macchina da cucire tutto viene più preciso, perfetto, lineare. Ma anche qui, solo se la sai usare. E infatti, a questo proposito, ho comprato un libro con le tecniche più usate, ma a breve inizierò un corso perché la mia voglia di imparare è davvero troppa!
Nel frattempo, però, qualcosa da autodidatta dovevo farlo. E ieri, portandomi dietro il mio nuovo Kindle a lavoro, ho pensato: ‘perché non fare una bella custodia imbottita?’ così in borsa non potrà mai rovinarsi. E udite udite: dopo cena ho preso tre stoffe differenti, una cerniera, filo e il mio nuovo bolide ed ecco cosa ho creato. Premetto, è super imperfetto perché non ho la tecnica giusta, ma scusatemi, ne sono molto orgogliosa.

Well, it has finally arrived. How much I have desired it! I was fed up with to have to sew everything to hand. And in fact, to this intention, I have bought a book with the more common techniques, but soon I will begin a course because my desire to learn is too big!
In the meantime, however, I had to do something from autodidactic. And yesterday, reading with my new Kindle during the break at work, I have thought: ‘why don’t I make a beautiful cloth case?’ so I cannot ruin it in the bag. And hear ye hear ye: after dinner I have taken three different cloths, a zipper, thread and my new sewing machine and here you can see what I have created. I premise, it is super imperfect because I don’t have the correct technique, but excused me, I am very proud of it. And you, that you think about it?
